GENERAL MANAGER

The job role is principally to manage and enhance the company’s performance through efficient use and management of resources, achievement of corporate goals and targets and also coordinating the growth and expansion of the company.


REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess general management skills (including leadership assertiveness, integrity, personnel/team development, communication).
Financial analysis, budgeting, cost management skills.
Good knowledge of the ICT/Outsourcing industry.
Business analysis and risk management skills.
Resource management skills.
Strategy planning skills.
Interpersonal/networking skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide a strategic link between staff and the senior Management Team on all internal aspects of the work of the company.
Coordinate the effective implementation of management decisions and guide the operations of the company in compliance with statutory provisions.
Develop and direct broad business and strategy planning processes with a focus on the smooth implementation of the company’s growth strategy
Formulate corporate business policies, define objectives, set and monitor achievement of business targets.
Oversee the execution of partnership agreements and ensure that the Company optimizes benefits from such relationships.
Develop and maintain good reputation in operating markets and good relationships with stakeholders
Create an enabling environment that empowers management and staff to proactively respond to opportunities and challenges in the business environment in pursuit of the company’s business objectives.
Initiate strategies to ensure the corporate identity and public image of the company is enhanced.
Monitor and support Heads of Departments to enable them deliver on their departmental programmes, achieve set targets and improve overall performance.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
A good university degree in the social sciences, sciences or engineering
Post graduate qualification (MBA)
A professional qualification will be an added advantage.
Not less than 5 years work experience with at least 3 in a core senior management capacity.
