F. Required Qualifications and Experience

a. Professor:
Must possess phd with minimum of 12years post certificate experience in university teaching and research in the relevant disciplines

Applicants must possess good scholarship publications along with proven of considerable teaching and research as well as proficiency in ICT

Must be registered with the various well known professional bodies

b. Associate Professor:
Must possess Phd with minimum of 6years post certificate experience in university teaching and research in the relevant disciplines

Applicants must possess good scholarship publications along with proven of considerable teaching and research as well as proficiency in ICT

Must be registered with the various well known professional bodies

c. Senior Lecturer:
Must possess phd with minimum of 6years post certificate experience buttressed with a suitable number of application s and proficiency in ICT

d. Lecturer I:
Must possess phd with minimum of 2years teaching and research experience along with a suitable number of publications and ict proficiency

e. Lecturer II:
Must be a fresh phd graduate in relevant discipline or in exceptional cases
Master’s degree with advanced doctoral programmes

f. Assistant Lecturer:
Master’s degree with evidence of current registration for the doctoral degree from the university
Note: in exceptional cases, applicants with master’s degree in addition to the highest professional certificate and experience in their respective profession and who possess advanced doctoral programme will be considered for positions of lecturer II

G. UNIVERSITY LIBRARY

a. University Librarian
Qualification
Good honours degree with not less than 12years post certificate experience, 8 of which must be spent in the senior management capacity in a university library or related higher institution/comparable establishment
Must possess a good record of publications in recognized and reputable journals

b. Deputy University Librarian
Qualification
Good honours degree with not less than 10years post certificate experience, 6 of which must be spent in the senior management capacity in a university library or related higher institution/comparable establishment
Must possess a good record of publications in recognized and reputable journals

2. NON-TEACHING STAFF VACANCIES

A. Department Of Works And Physical Planning

a. Director
Qualification
Good honours degree in civil engineering
Must be a member of coren and nse professional bodies
Minimum of 15years experience

b. Deputy Director
Qualification
Good honours degree in civil engineering
Must be a member of coren and nse professional bodies
Minimum of 10years experience

c. Senior Physical Planning Officer
Qualification
Good honours degree in tropical/urban/regional planning civil engineering
Must be a member of nitp professional body
Minimum of 6years experience

d. Principal Engineer
QUALIFICATION
Bsc in engineering
Not less than 5years experience
Or
Minimum of ond with at least 11years experience
Or

Hnd with at least 9years experience
Must be a member of coren and nse or other similar professional body

B. REGISTRY

a. Deputy Registrar
QUALIFICATION
Good honours degree with minimum of 2nd class lower division (2.2) in social and management sciences, law or humanities
Not less than 10years post certificate experience and ict proficiency

b. Principal Assistant Registrar
Qualification
Good honours degree with minimum of 2nd class lower division (2.2) in social and management sciences, law or humanities
Not less than 8years post certificate experience and ict proficiency

c. Senior assistant registrar
Qualification
Good honours degree with minimum of 2nd class lower division in social and management sciences, law or humanities
Not less than 6years post certificate experience and ict proficiency

d. Assistant registrar
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 2nd class lower division (2.2) in social and management sciences, law or humanities with not less than
4years post certificate experience and ict proficiency
For assistant registrar (legal & counseling), applicants must have minimum of 2nd class lower division degree in law with not less than 3years post certificate experience

e. Administrative Officer II
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 2nd class lower division (2.2) in social and management sciences, law or humanities

f. Secretary
Qualification
1st degree/hnd in secretarial studies
Minimum of 3years experience and ICT proficiency

g. Clerical Officer
Qualification
At least ssce/gec/o’level/neco with not less than 5credits including
English language

QUALIFICATION
Minimum of secondary school leaving certificate or similar

C. Security Unit

A. SENIOR SECURITY OFFICER
QUALIFICATION
1st degree with minimum of 5years experience with certificate in security training
Or
At least OND degree or related security training with not less than 11 years experience
b. Security Officer I

QUALIFICATION
1st degree with minimum of 3years experience with certificate in security training
Or
At least ond degree or related security training with not less than 7years experience

C. SECURITY OFFICER II
Qualification
1st degree with minimum of 2years experience with certificate in security training
Or
At least ond degree or related security training with not less than 4years experience

D. ASSISTANT SECURITY OFFICER
QUALIFICATION
Ond degree or related security training with not less than 2years experience
Must have approved professional training

E. SECURITY SUPERVISOR
QUALIFICATION
Must have at least 5credits in ssce/neco/gce/o’level with basic police training
Minimum of 4years experience with basic training in security work

F. PATROL MAN
QUALIFICATION
Must have at least 5 credits in ssce/neco/gce/o’level with 4years experience with basic training in security work

D. LABORATORY TECHNOLOGISTS

a. Science Laboratory Technologist (Industrial Chemistry)

QUALIFICATION
Hnd degree with minimum of 2years experience in pharmaceutical/industrial chemistry
Or
Ond degree with at least 4years post certificate experience in sciences laboratory technology (industrial chemistry)

b. Science laboratory technologist (pure and applied physics)

QUALIFICATION
Hnd degree with minimum of 2years experience in pure and applied physics
Or
Ond degree with at least 4years post certificate experience in sciences laboratory technology (pure and applied physics)
