IT Operations Manager – FMCG

Careers Nigeria is recruiting for an IT Operations Manager on behalf of an FMCG company.

The successful candidate for this role while reporting to the infrastructure Manager will be required to:

* Manage Data Centre operations
* Develop, establish and improve service management process in other to ensure effective, efficient and secured provision of infrastructure and other IT services based on best practices in the industry(ITIL3v)
* Oversee management of user authorisation and authentication of key business applications
* Manage the procurement of all IT- related purchases


The Person:

The candidate must:

* Possess a university degree in computer science, computer engineering or information technology
* Have minimum of two years experience in IT operations in the FMCG industry
* Be experienced in developing system infrastructure, in monitoring, controlling and maintaining IT operations
* Possess an IT professional qualification ITIL
* Have passion for documentation and knowledge management
* Be able to communicate technical data processing information effectively both orally and in writing
* Have good people management skill
* Have sound skill in and knowledge of Data operations management, solaris unix administration, SQL administration, storage/ NetApps management, tape library administration, Application integration, operations/ process optimisation
