INTERNAL CONTROL OFFICER URGENTLY REQUIRED
Our client, a word class organization with interest in hospitality, education and agriculture sectors urgently requires the service of an INTERNAL CONTROL OFFICER. The position reports to the chairman. The successful candidates will ensure effective internal control and audit procedures

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Design/Review internal control and audit procedures
Continually communicate key organization terms (e.g Role, responsibilities, signing policy, authorizations, etc)

Conduct thorough and objective examination of financial transactions and records
Liaise with staff to obtain information, discuss issues rising and proffer solutions
Documentation audit evidence
Prepare and present audit reports identifying weakness and suggesting improvements (new procedures and policies)

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A good university degree or its equivalent in Finance/Accounting or other related discipline, plus a recognized professional accounting qualification (i.e ACA, ACCA or CPA)
At least 5 years audit experience is key
Applicants must be vast in the use of Peachtree, Sage and other accounting packages.
