JOB DESCRIPTION
REPORTS TO: Sales Plant & Production Manager
Observe and follow Health & Safety Rules and Policies at all times.
Receive customer orders in a courteous manner, preparing production schedules and delivery schedules for the following day in line with the plant’s capacity.
Inform customers with regards to any potential delays or problems, ensuring the Plant Supervisor is also aware.
Communicate to all plant and site personnel, details of pouring, times and locations etc.
Complete all necessary reports & paperwork.
Enter correct mix design on batching computer along with Technical Supervisor.
Communicate with Pump Supervisor and Pump Operators with regards to site pouring schedules for following day’s production.
Inform the Technical department the details of the next day’s production schedule including sites, mixes etc. Maintain communication throughout the day.
Sign/approve all materials deliveries to plant location, ensuring that delivery drivers are wearing PPE and observing site rules, and that the goods have been fully received.
Ensure cash sale enquiries match Sales Department listing/costs. Ensuring cash is collected before delivery.
Manage stocks in line with following day’s production. Keep stocks at maximum storage capacity.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

JOB PURPOSE:
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for setting up and ensuring proper accounting of Lafarge Ready Mix – Nigeria transactions, generation of Management
Accounts (P&L, BS, CF & periodic management report). The financial accountant will actively participate in the achievement of the strategic objectives of Lafarge Ready
Mix Nigeria (LRN).

Professional experience:
MANDATORY:
University degree & qualified accountant (CA,ACCA or equivalent)
3 years experience in busy commercial environment and/or reputable audit firm involved in financial accounting/finance
Written and spoken English
Good analyst and fluency with IT tools ( Excel)
Preferred:
1. 5 years experience from a commercial environment within the building materials or construction industry.
Internal control orientation
Good communication skills
Ability to influence and drive actions with minimum supervision.

Co-ordinate the preparation of daily fuel stock and Paper Bag stock figures, as regards opening balances, issues, receipts, closing stocks and requirements.
Cross-check issues of items to users departments as regards correct catalogue number, right quantities, description and authorized signatories.
Ensure availability of stores handling equipment and other utilities for smooth stores operations.
