ABOUT THIS JOB
We are looking for a self-motivated IT Administrator to provide daily support for the operational activities of the IT Department. This individual will report to the Corporate IT Manager and assist in IT related activities of the organization. This individual will also support and implement cost effective IT solutions suitable for the company business requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for troubleshooting applications, provide technical support and problem solving
Develops and implements user-training programs
Oversees and evaluates system security and back up procedures
Facilitates communication between staff, vendors, and other technology resources within the organization
Provides development, evaluation, and coordination of information and technology systems for various departments
Responsible for Inventory Management and License compliance/auditing
Phone system administration and support (VOIP)
Run Backups for Mac clients and servers
REQUIREMENTS
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering
5 years of IT/help desk experience
Experience in a fast paced start-up is an absolute must
Positive customer first attitude
Ability to multi-task
Strong organizational skills
Solid Mac hardware/software experience
Be a quick study
Excellent writing skills for documenting processes and procedures
Great at teaching others as you are at learning
Solid Team player
Ready to help build out an IT department from ground zero
Solid windows XP/7/ + Server 2008 and Active Directory/Open Directory Integration skills
Strong Open Directory background a plus
Familiar with X-Serve hardware and Networking (firewall, routers, switches, DNS, DHCP) a plus
Knowledge of Virtualization (desktop and server applications) and Anti-virus a plus
